New Hackery
So in case you were no aware of it yet, I broke my foot Dirt Biking. Because of this I am not gonna be able to work for about 6 weeks now. So to pass the time I bought some cheap little hacking projects. Four things to be exact; a JuiceBox, a CVS Digital Camera, a CVS Digital Video Recorder, and a Cue:Cat. Hopefully these will keep me busy for a while, or at least until I can get back to work.
The two cameras were really cheap in terms of digital cameras with lcd’s. Each was 20$ because the pictures are supposed to only be able to be developed by CVS. However because there are some great people out there who are good with electronics, I will be able to use this camera as a cheap fun toy rather than a CVS ripoff. I also wanna tie these into my car project in some fashion but we will see how that goes once I get my LCD.
The JuiceBox is a small LCD that runs UCLinux. It can currently play MP3’s and show pictures. So I wanna rips this apart and put it in something cool.
Finally the Cue:Cat. This thing was a horrible marketing idea that I will use to my own benefit. Using some software I will be able to categorize my cd’s and dvd’s into a really cool system to show off my library and what not.
Hope that wasn’t too much info for one post, but it has been a while since my last post.
